ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
This statement was last updated on August 13th, 2026. We at The Open Practice Academy are committed to making our website accessible to individuals with disabilities.
What is web accessibility?
Web accessibility means that our online platforms are designed so that all users, including those with disabilities, can navigate and utilize our resources with ease and satisfaction, through both the site's inherent features and assistive technologies.
Accessibility features on this site
Our site adheres to WCAG 2.1 guidelines and strives to achieve AA compliance. We have implemented a variety of accessibility features, including:
Conducted audits to identify and rectify potential accessibility barriers
Specified the primary language of the site
Structured content for logical navigation
Established clear heading hierarchies across all pages
Provided alternative text for all images
Ensured color contrasts meet accessibility standards
Minimized motion effects where possible
Made all multimedia content accessible
Partial compliance may be declared due to third-party content
Some pages on this site may contain content from third-party sources — for example, embedded scheduling tools, payment processors, or platform widgets. We acknowledge that these pages may not fully comply with accessibility standards. Therefore, we declare partial compliance for pages containing third-party embedded content.
Accessibility arrangements in our organization
The Open Practice Academy operates virtually by default — most engagements, workshops, and consultations take place online rather than at a physical location. Accessibility and Universal Design for Learning are treated as markers of quality throughout our services, not compliance add-ons. If in-person or hybrid delivery is arranged for a specific engagement, accessibility accommodations for that location will be coordinated directly with the client in advance.
