| FRACTIONAL & SPECIALIST SUPPORT
Get the expertise you need without creating another full-time position.
Sometimes an organization does not need a consultant standing outside the work.
You need someone inside it.

Fractional & Specialist Support allows organizations to bring me into a team, project, program, or initiative for a defined amount of time without hiring another full-time employee.
I can provide ongoing specialized capacity, temporary coverage, implementation support, or project-based expertise while working alongside your existing team.
This can be useful when…
-
You have more work than your current team can reasonably absorb.
-
Someone has left and there is an expertise gap.
-
You are launching something new but are not ready for another permanent position.
-
You need specialized knowledge for several months.
-
A project keeps getting pushed aside because nobody has the capacity to own it.
-
You have talented people internally but need someone who already knows the domain.
-
You need help implementing a strategy that has already been developed.
-
You know exactly what needs to happen.
-
You simply need someone capable of doing it.

What “fractional” can look like
The arrangement depends on what your team actually needs.
I might:
-
Own a defined project
-
Work a set number of hours each week
-
Attend recurring team meetings
-
Provide specialist office hours
-
Work directly with staff or faculty
-
Manage a particular initiative* Build resources and systems asynchronously
-
Serve as temporary capacity during a staffing transition
-
Support implementation after a consultant or internal team develops a strategy
-
Provide ongoing expertise that your organization does not need full-time
Start With an Inquiry
Fractional support can be as hands-on or advisory as the work requires. I might attend meetings, manage a project, work inside your systems, create resources, support staff, troubleshoot problems, or quietly get things done in the background.

Pricing
Fractional and specialist work is $150/hour.
Common monthly arrangements:

10 Hours / Month | $1,500

Useful for light ongoing specialist support, advising, documentation, resource development, or a small recurring project.

20 Hours / Month | $3,000/month

Approximately five hours of capacity per week.
Useful for ongoing projects, program support, faculty/staff support, implementation work, or specialist responsibilities.

30 Hours / Month | $4,500/month

For more substantial embedded responsibility across a project, program, or initiative.

40 Hours / Month | $6,000/month

Approximately ten hours of specialist capacity per week.

Useful when an organization needs significant recurring support but not another full-time position.
Smaller, larger, and project-specific arrangements are available.

The same $150/hour rate applies throughout, so the pricing remains transparent regardless of the size of the engagement.

Before we begin, we will agree on expectations around communication, meetings, availability, hours, deliverables, and what happens if additional capacity is needed.
Fractional does not have to mean forever.
Sometimes the goal is explicitly to make me unnecessary. I can help build the program, document the system, train the people who will own it, stabilize the work, and hand it back. That is often a successful engagement.
Tell Me What You’re Working On →
You don’t need to know which service you need, how many hours it will take, or even exactly what the solution should be.
When possible, I’ll identify a minimum viable scope: the smallest investment I believe could produce something genuinely useful.
